Gruesome Road

As we all know, the Baby Boomers are getting older and require more and more medical attention. It was also once reported, the reason why more medical centers are appearing across the country is do in part the the declining health of these same folks. Altus has a population of right around 22,000 and that is, if you count all of the dogs, cats, cows and horses. The greater majority of our population are retired military, such as myself. K, the cost of living isn't that bad either.

Along with added retirement homes and village's, the funeral and medical business is also picking up. Believe it or not, some person/s got together and took it upon themselves, to create what I'd call, Gruesome Road. You have a retirement home, assisted living center, medical center, church, funeral home and you can even purchase a headstone along this little bit of road. So you enter into a retirement home, your medical needs are covered right next door, you attend church and when you kick the bucket, there is a funeral home right around the corner! Kinda reminds me of what Henry Ford started, the assembly line. And to think, this is all in a 3 block area!

My suggestion would be, to install fences which are in good taste and to totally landscape the area making it difficult if not impossible to see the other business's.
